COVID-19 Vaccines for Children Under 5
Parents, guardians, and caregivers can now get their children 6 months through 5 years of age vaccinated with the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines to better protect them from COVID-19. CDC recommends vaccines for everyone 6 months and older and boosters for everyone 5 years and older, if eligible.
Moderna is a 2-shot series, while Pfizer is a 3-shot series.
- Moderna – 6 months to 5 years, 2 doses 4 weeks apart.
- Pfizer – 6 months to 4 years, 3 doses. The second dose is 3 weeks after the first followed by a third dose at least 8 weeks after the second.
If you want to get your child vaccinated, please call us to schedule an in-clinic appointment or you can use our drive-thru vaccine site for children age 3+; no phone call or appointment needed.
